
Chocolate cake with cayenne caramel sauce and praline peanuts made by 18 year old baking prodigy, Maya Erickson of Citizen Cake (now closed). I talked to her at length about baking and ice cream making while we enjoyed this incredible dessert that I thought I didn't want to have. What a mistake that would have been! Maya is an adorable and sweet girl with some killer ideas and a very interesting palate. Definitely one to watch. (Please excuse the photo quality- uploaded from my first generation iphone)
